Call for abstracts

Presentation Options
1. Regular Oral presentations (15-20 min). These time frames include time for questions. *see below for detail
2. Lightening presentations (5 min) 

Presentations by students (undergraduate, graduate) are strongly encouraged.

STUDENTS!!!  COPARC will sponsor the first 5 students to attend the meeting who submit an abstract. PLEASE note on your abstract submission that you are a student (include “_Student” at the end of the file name), or you may not be eligible!

Photo Contest

COPARC has many talented photographers in its membership and the organization will be sponsoring a photography contest at the 2019 annual meeting.
Photo Submission Criteria:
  • All photos entered into the contest must depict a wild amphibian, reptile, or turtle in Colorado. Photos taken outside of Colorado will not be considered.
Displaying Photos: The conference center is equipped with easels to display photo prints, though you may choose to bring your own equipment if you prefer. There is no restriction on the size of the print or the material on which the photo is printed.
Entry fee: $5 per photo print entered into the contest, with all entry fees being pooled as the prize money
Evaluation: Photos will be judged by meeting attendants, who will cast anonymous paper votes.
Prizes: 50% of the pooled entry fees goes to COPARC, 30% will be awarded to the 1st prize, 20% to the 2nd prize, 10% to the 3rd prize, and 4th place will receive an Honorable Mention. A name and photo of each participant will be displayed beside their submitted works on COPARC’s website. If desired, we will include your e-mail address and a link to a website or social media account where your photography is hosted. You may opt out of the website feature at your request.
