2020 Photo Contest Rules
COPARC has many talented photographers in its membership and the organization will be sponsoring a photography contest at the 2020 annual meeting.
Photo Submission Criteria:
  • All photos entered into the contest must depict a wild amphibian, reptile, or turtle in Colorado. Photos taken outside of Colorado will not be considered.
Deadline: All photo submissions must be made by February 4, 2020.
Entry fee: $5 per photo print entered into the contest, up to a maximum of 3 submissions per meeting attendee. Participants should pay their entry fee through Eventbrite (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2020-coparc-annual-meeting-tickets-75971907019). Photo submissions without entry fees will not be considered.
Submitting Photos: To submit photo entries, attach each digital file to an e-mail to CO PARC Steering Committee member Erin Jackson (erin@clockworkkomodo.com), specifying the desired print size for each submission. Maximum photo size is 11 x 17 inches. Photos will be printed by CO PARC and displayed at the meeting.
Evaluation: Photos will be judged by meeting attendants, who will cast anonymous paper votes.
Prizes: $50 will be awarded to the 1st prize, $30 to the 2nd prize, $20 to the 3rd prize, and 4th place will receive an Honorable Mention. A name and photo of each participant will be displayed beside their submitted works on COPARC’s website. If desired, we will include your e-mail address and a link to a website or social media account where your photography is hosted. You may opt out of the website feature at your request.
Optional - Donate photo to CO PARC auction: If desired, photographers may choose to donate their photo prints to the CO PARC auction, with all proceeds from sales of the photos going on to support CO PARC. Photo prints that are not entered into the CO PARC auction will be available for pickup by the contributing photographers.
