The Conservation Award opportunity is made possible by the Colorado Partners in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation.
The award is intended to assist students studying reptiles and/or amphibians by offsetting costs of classes, books, education projects, research projects, professional meetings, training events, certifications or other similar costs.
Recipients are eligible for up to a $250 award.

Eligibility:
- Individuals studying Wildlife/Biology at a Colorado college or university
- A presentation at the COPARC 2021 Annual Meeting is a requirement of the award. 95% of the funding will be awarded immediately, and the remaining 5% will be awarded only after delivery of a presentation at the Annual Meeting.
- The Award is granted once per year.
- Deadline for submission is May 1, 2020.
- Submit all documents electronically to [email protected] with the subject line “LastName_COAward_Year”.
- Award announcement will be made by May 15, 2020
- Submit a cover letter addressing the following questions:
- Explain in detail how and when the funding will be used. Include a training announcement, meeting agenda, or course announcement if applicable.
- How much funding are you requesting? (up to $250)
- How will this activity benefit your student profile or professional career
- Provide two professional references.
- Submit a resume including the following information (if applicable):
- Education, relevant work experience, relevant volunteer and service activities, awards, certifications, professional organizations and positions held.
